Improvement Evaluation Report

Improvement Evaluation Report

Empowering Homeowners to make informed decisions about improving their home’s energy efficiency.

The recently launched ‘Improvement Evaluation Report’ is a useful addition to your Energy Performance Certificate (EPC). The report shows a range of recommendations modelled across multiple scenarios. Then for each scenario it shows the resulting fuel cost savings, the resulting energy ratings, and the resulting CO2 emissions savings. As well as this the report also shows an estimated installation cost for each of the associated recommendations. If any quotations have already been obtained for relevant work these costs can be shown instead of the estimated ones.

The Improvement Evaluation Report…

Basically the report shows various combinations of recommendations. It then shows how these recommendations in a particular order will affect the properties energy rating (A to G).

For example, common recommendations would be cavity wall insulation, loft insulation, or low energy light bulbs. Other recommendations may include external wall insulation, floor insulation, a boiler upgrade, replacement windows, or a heat pump.

Who is the Report for?

This report is particularly useful for Domestic Landlords when attempting to achieve compliance with the Minimum Energy Efficiency Standards (MEES)*. This is because compliance is usually desirable in the simplest and most cost effective way,

*Let properties must have an Energy Rating of at least an ‘E’ (unless an allowable exemption has been lodged).

Report prices start at £ 60.00
