AAH Assessments, independent of its property assessment services, offers property maintenance and repair services to Letting Agents and Landlords, targeted at pre-tenancy property preparation, and post-tenancy property repair.

Maintenance

It is important to keep any rental property in a good state of repair (please click here to see an article from Landlord Vision regarding maintaining rental properties). The services we provide are generally smaller jobs, some examples are as follows:

  • Supply/fit batteries and light bulbs (inc. appliance light bulbs).
  • Supply/fit smoke detectors and carbon monoxide detectors.
  • Repairs of walls/woodwork and minor decorating.
  • Tiling of basin splash backs and sealant/grout repairs.
  • Supply/fit curtains, net curtains, rails/tracks and blinds.
  • Supply/fit blind pull cord safety hooks.
  • Supply/fit wall fixed items (towel rings, toilet roll holders, doorstops, etc.).
  • Supply/fit replacement toilet seats, shower heads/hoses/brackets, plugs.
  • Supply/fit replacement power sockets, light switches, aerial sockets, etc.
  • Re-alignment/tightening of kitchen cupboard fronts and knobs/handles.
  • Supply/fit pipe concealment, UPVC capping, door bars, etc.
  • Exterior repairs to fencing, slabs, etc.
  • Cutting of lawns, weeding of beds, sweeping of hard areas.

Related areas are cleaned after work has been carried out, with any associated waste removed.
